Our Chapter

The Independence Hall Chapter, NSDAR, is committed to community service and honoring those that gave their all for our country.  We are the only DAR chapter still meeting in Center City, Philadelphia.  We meet on the third Saturday of the month September through May.  We welcome speakers to our meetings and take historic tours nearby.  Additional social events and volunteer opportunities happen often and throughout the year.

DAR Membership

Membership in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a unique opportunity to establish one’s lineage and heritage as a descendant of a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War. Our members are vibrant women who balance their daily responsibilities while serving our community in the areas of historic preservation, education, and patriotism. We welcome new, active members to join us in fulfilling the objectives of our chapter, state, and national organizations. We always welcome new associate members as well!
